Midsomer Murders Series 25 Trailer

Midsomer Murders: New Series Premieres in December – but not (yet) in the UK Fans of Midsomer Murders may have to wait a little longer for new episodes. While ITV has yet to announce a UK broadcast date for Series 24, Series 25 will make its worldwide debut on Acorn TV in the US and Canada on Monday, 8 December 2025. Acorn TV has released a short first trailer, offering a glimpse of the latest round of atmospheric — and reliably murderous — countryside mysteries. What to expect from Series 25 The new run consists of four feature-length episodes, written and directed by several long-standing contributors to the series. Viewers can expect the familiar blend of rural charm, eccentric characters and elegantly baroque motives, including: a mudlarking murder on the Thames, a bowling-club killing, and a death at a prestigious grammar school. Midsomer Murders: The Killings at Badger‘s Drift on stage – First Performance Impressions

It was Friday, 24 October 2025, when the stage adaption of Midsomer Murders: The Killings at Badger’s Drift opened at the Richmond Theatre — outside the Richmond Theatre, there was an expectant, bustling atmosphere. A mix of ages and dress codes – from smart casual to properly turned out – milled about the foyer, heading towards the stalls or making their way up to the dress circle with drinks in hand. They had all come for the premiere of Caroline Graham’s Midsomer Murders: The Killings at Badger’s Drift on 24 October 2025, written and directed by Guy Unsworth – the first ever official stage adaptation of the iconic crime series. The Richmond Theatre in London marks the start of the Midsomer Murders stage tour 2025–2026, which will travel across the UK and Ireland.

ITV orders 26th season of ‘Midsomer Murders’

ITV and All3Media International have officially commissioned a 26th season of the popular British crime series ‘Midsomer Murders’. The news comes even though seasons 24 and 25 have not yet been fully broadcast in the UK, underscoring the series’ continued global popularity. The facts about the renewal British broadcaster ITV and lead distribution partner All3Media International have confirmed the production of four new feature-length episodes. This commission brings the total number of episodes available to an impressive 148, making DCI Barnaby one of the busiest TV detectives around. Filming for season 25 was only completed this summer.
